a Land survey question. We already hold a land survey map and have an official copy from the city government. how much doe it cost to hire someone to interpret those numbers and make MARKERs base on the map?
I don't think we need another survey right?
This is for Seattle of Seattle.
A Land survey question?
You don't necessarily need another survey. I agree with src50. You just need to have the corners marked.
If you have a copy of the survey, the name of the company that did the survey should be there. Call them first, since they will probably do it cheaper than other survey companies.
In my area, to have the corners "pinned" from a current survey normally costs about $100 or less.
If you don't have the name of the company that did the original survey, then call various companies to get a quote. It shouldn't be too costly as the original company probably put metal markers in the ground which any survey company can find.
Reply:You want your property lines/corners marked? Call a few local surveyors and ask for a quote.
