The definition of the term "deed gap" in a land survey.?

That sounds like a measurement problem where the surveys when they were made did not meet at the same point and as a result there is some land between to deeded parcels of land that legally doesn't belong with either parcel of land.





In Texas that is called vacated land and belongs to the state.
