Who pays for a land survey if my neighbor wants to move a fence over 8 feet across the supposed line?

The township says you can build a fence on the property line with no setback. I have a tree which is in the way of where they

Who pays for a land survey if my neighbor wants to move a fence over 8 feet across the supposed line?
The neighbor who is constructing the fence needs to complete the survey.
Reply:If you´re right sue him, loser pays.
Reply:contact your local zoning office, they will make him pay for it
Reply:If he gets on your property, you can sue him. Get the survey. Perhaps your can split the fee. Or you can let him get it after all he is the one wanting to move the fence.

but the person who wants the fence..pays...........





as far as the tree...........check with your muncipality..there may be an arborist society that protects the tree.......


where i live.............i take off the part on my property.......continue my fence.. and it is in the municipal code..
