If a land is surveyed wrong and utility lines and construction takes place, what can be done and who is liable

You need to get a second opinion from a different licensed professional surveyor. Until you have certification from another licensed professional surveyor, you cannot be sure that the first surveyor made a mistake. Even if there was a mistake made, it may be possible to get a variance from the local governing authority, in order to avoid having to move the improvements that have been built.

If a land is surveyed wrong and utility lines and construction takes place, what can be done and who is liable
who did the surveying, did you pay for the survey to be done. ultimately, the surveyor is responsible. all work must be stopped until the actual location of those objects is surveyed. all work done previously will most likely have to be removed. good luck.
