I was told by my boss that within the next few weeks I will be using something called a "Ruth" (if that is how it's spelled) to complete some land surveying projects. Does anyone know what this is, and where I could find some more information on this Unit/System?

The only units that this seems to suggest is "rood", or a variation of rod.
